In Baba Is You , you control Baba character moving through a maze of objects and word blocks that represent the rules of the game. Your task is to change the rules of the game by moving the words to create rules that are favourable to you. For example, changing “WALL IS STOP” to “WALL IS PUSH” lets you walk through walls.

Each level has its own unique solution, and the difficulty increases with each level. The game doesn't impose a specific solution but instead encourages you to experiment, fail, and then come up with a completely new solution. If one strategy doesn't work, you need to change your perspective—because in the game, there are no limits that can't be broken.
